Custom Pedals

The majority of my work goes into building custom pedals for customers who want something a little bit different. If you have something specific in mind that you'd like to have built, please contact me. We'll iron out the details and I'll get you a price quote. Custom pedals are typically built onto a pre-designed pcb from BYOC, General Guitar Gadgets, TonePad, or point-to-point built onto pad-per-hole perf board, depending on the circuit. Custom pedals are typically finished with powder coating for durability and water slide decals for graphics.

Below are some of the custom builds I've done for customers over the past few years.

OctaviFuzz

A classic Hendrix-era octave-fuzz circuit. The octave can be toggled in and out of the circuit for a straight, brutal fuzz sound, or for the classic octave effect. Pre-gain control accentuates the octave and lets you set it exactly where you want it without fiddling with your guitar volume control.

SweetDelay

A 5-knob SoftDelay built for the Bob Sweet Charity. Added a second repeats control so each channel has independent delay time and feedback. Housed in an enclosure painted by Luci at LuciBox.

SweetMuff

A custom BMP circuit built for the Bob Sweet charity. Vintage NOS transistors nail that early 70's, "Rams' Head" Floyd sound. Separate mid and treble controls add more variation to the circuit.

DirtyBoost

A variation of the classic Rangemaster circuit. Germanium transistor boost. The output section is tweaked for a more natural frequency response. Range control lets you adjust the boost frequency for use as a treble boost, bass boost, and everthgin in between.

Voltage Sag

Takes the voltage coming from your AC adapter and makes it variable; allowing you to sag the voltage to simulate a dying battery. Great for fuzz pedals!
